Pretend like this is the back of the book you are about to read — the book and its author are praised with well-attributed accolades from various news publications and credible sources. Isn’t this just so the author doesn’t have to gloat about his or her own book?
I feel a similar burden in tooting my own horn in my introduction here. So I’ll let the people who know me best tell you what I’m like, and you can decide for yourself if this is the kinda thing you want to get involved with.
Carly is:
“The quirkiest and most articulate girl who never fails to share her smile with the world or her food with her shirt.”
“The kind of person who appreciates the simple things in life. The kind of person who is not afraid to correct your grammar. The kind of person who just wants a pretty day and a good book.”
“The girl who believes in the magic of Harry Potter.”
“The type of person who will argue relentlessly about a point of no significance such as bananas growing on trees.”
“The kind of person who would use a 50% off coupon for an item already marked 50% off.”
“The kind of person who will eat your cheese from pizza, that is, if you’re the kind of person who takes cheese off pizza.”
