For No Particular Reason. That is the name of this blog, and it is also the reason why this flower decided to bloom in the barren wasteland of the Negev Desert in Israel. It jumped out to me amid the vast stretch of sand and lifelessness on a hike there last week. Exhausted, thirsty, and sweaty, I managed to whip out my camera for yet another picture… after pledging not to do so about 15 pictures ago. This was my favorite one of the day.
